Neda Dadashzadeh, Ph.D.Dr. Neda Dadashzadeh has over 5 years of comprehensive experience in geomechanics and advanced numerical modelling for stability assessment of surface and subsurface infrastructures. She is specialized in underground rock mechanics, ground response to excavation, and support design for tunnelling and mining. Her Ph.D. research was focused on the numerical analysis of stress-induced damage in hard rocks, which gave her particular skills in developing calibrated numerical models for predicting rock engineering issues related to deep excavations, including brittle damage and rock bursting. Additionally, she is experienced in slope stability analysis and rockfall assessment of natural and engineered rock slopes.
